Chicago police returned to the former site of a North Side roller-skating rink and, with the help of a search dog and an excavating machine, dug up what appeared to be more bones from the now-vacant lot. Bones were found in paper bags in the basement of the establishment, on the 4800 block of North Clark Street in the City's Uptown neighborhood. The items were taken to the Cook County medical examiner's office to see if it was possible to determine the subject's gender and identity.
