A new lease on comedy

In what could turn out to be a huge boon for the Uptown neighborhood, the Annoyance Theater has signed a lease to bring its improvisational comedy troupe to a new home in a vacant space at 4840 N. Broadway Ave. Annoyance Theater, which has operated from a Lincoln Avenue space since leaving North Clark Street in 2000, joins mainstays such as the Green Mill, Aragon Ballroom and the Riviera.
