... The council passed the proposal to develop Uptown's Wilson Yard, 1036 W. Montrose Ave., into a residential complex and shopping center. Mayor Daley called the development, which will get underway this spring,l" a great addition to the Uptown Community." The city's Department of Planning and Development is in the process of selling the property for $6.6 million.
