Bridgeview Bank Group has opened a full-service personal and business banking center at 5117 N. Clark St. in the heart of Andersonville. As part of its Andersonville grand opening, the bank will host an art exhibition featuring selected works by Andersonville artist Roger Heide. The exhibition is part of the bank's "Artists Among Us" series in which the bank partners with the local artistic community by providing artists and artisans a chance to showcase their talent. The exhibition will be on display throughout the main areas of the bank through spring. "Already, the community here has embraced us. It's clear that Andersonville is a tight-knit community where residents take great pride in their neighborhood and where a vibrant business district thrives," said Peter J. Haleas, chairman of Bridgeview Bank Group. "We are happy to welcome Bridgeview Bank to Andersonville," said Ellen Shepard, executive director of the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce. "Their desire to call our community 'home' speaks highly of our neighborhood and is a testament to the growth and opportunity that Andersonville offers." Hours of operation at Bridgeview Bank Andersonville will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Bridgeview Bank Group purchased Uptown National Bank, including their landmark building at the corner of Lawrence and Broadway, last summer.
